dc.description.abstractWireless communication systems in terahertz (THz) bands is seen as a promising solution for the future 6G wireless communication systems. However, THz systems require high sampling rate and precise synchronization. Additionally, distortions due to nonlinear power amplifier (NLPA) at the transmitter reduces the overall system performance. To counteract the impact of NLPA at low receiver complexity, we propose a compressed sensing (CS)-based receiver exploiting the signal sparsity in the THz range. A deterministic THz waveform-matched nonlinear measurement matrix (NLMM) in the CS domain is proposed. Analytical and simulation results show that the proposed matrix has better average symbol error rate performance than the existing measurement matrices in the presence of NLPA. © The Author(s) 2025.
