| dc.description.abstract | The effect of higher order cyclotron harmonic resonance of electrons with the propagating electromagnetic wave through the magnetoplasma is considered. It is shown that the synchronous energy gain for m=1 and n=1 becomes oscillatory at higher harmonics (m not=1,n=D). The expressions for the time period of energy oscillations and maximum energy gain during an oscillation are derived. The nature of pseudo-potential, maximum energy gain and the time period of energy oscillation are shown graphically. | |
