| dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a high gain interleaved boost converter (IBC) for universal line PFC applications. It is realized by interleaving two conventional boost converters. It is capable of operating at three different duty regions, ≤ ≤ . , . ≤ ≤ and ≤ ≤ to produce high voltage gain as compared to the conventional IBC. The three different duty regions occurred due to switching logic applied on the two controlled switches of the proposed converter. Detailed mathematical modeling of the proposed converter is carried out, and its steady-state behavior is verified through scaled down laboratory prototype. © 2018 IEEE | |
