dc.description.abstractSuitablity of brick kiln ash and fly ash for removing chromium (VI) from waste water has been investigated. Both adsorbents exhibited fairly good sorption potential for chromiun (VI) with a maximum at pH 1.3. Effects of concentration of Cr (VI) (10.0 -50 mg/L), particle size (124-853 μm), rpm (100- 200 s-1) and temperature (25-50°°c) have been studied.
