| dc.description.abstract | Solubility of benzoic acid In dletHled water and aqueous solutions of poly(vlnyl alcohol) (PVA) and poly(vlnylpyrrolldone) (PVP) containing 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0% polymer by weight has been determined In the temperature range of 30-55 °C. It has been observed that, at any given temperature, the solubility In polymer solution Is more than that In water, Increases with Increasing polymer concentration, and approaches a constant value at higher concentrations. © 1981, American Chemical Society.
