| dc.description.abstract | The two-switch forward converter (TSFC) is controlled by using Adaptive Model Predictive Control (A - MPC). Due to its multiple objective and constraint handling ability, this type of controller is suitable for a broad range of input voltage applications, such as DC supply for an electronic subsystem in a high-voltage Battery Management System (BMS). A-MPC controls the output voltage in the presence of model uncertainties. This research work presents an in-depth analysis of converter modelling and control. The proposed A - MPc control strategy is implemented in a MATLAB simulation environment to test its efficacy and robustness. The proposed A-MPC control strategy works better as compared to PI controller and second-order sliding mode controller known as super twisting control (STC). © 2024 IEEE. | |
