| dc.description.abstract | Since the mobile Internet applications flourishes greatly in the recent years. Therefore, it is absolutely important and interesting to find the way to guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) in topology-varying ad-hoc network environment, especially for Variable Bitrate (VBR) traffic. VBR is more realistic than Constant Bitrate (CBR) as it includes multimedia traffic as well as other types of traffic. This paper presents the comparative performance analysis of CBR and VBR traffic generators under influence of route maintenance parameters (Active Route Timeout (ART) and Delete Period Constant (DPC)) for Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol. Present article makes the evaluation and comparison of AODV routing performance based on three QoS parameters; throughput, average end-To-end delay, and average jitter. D-plot is used here to prepare the performance of QoS parameters graphs. © 2016 IEEE. | |
