| dc.description.abstract | Three types of curvature slopes, namely convex, plane and concave were taken to study the effect on the slope stability: the concave slope is stable in comparison to other two. Since a reduction of even 2 to 3o in the slope face is going to save a considerable amount of overburden removal, a pit designer may therefore like to take the advantage of the 'slope curvature' parameter. -from Authors | |
