A generalisation of chui's window functions and its boundedness property

Abstract

De_nition of a window function given by Charles K. Chui in L 2(R) is extended to L 2(R n) and it is proved that every window function belonging to L 2(R n) is also L 1(R n) integrable. This result is very useful in wavelet theory in R n, particularly to find the wavelet inversion formula in L 2(R n). © 2012 EUDOXUS8 P0R2ESS, LLC.
