I.R. Spectroscopic studies of some dolomite rock samples of mirzapur

Abstract

Infra-red spectroscopic studies of five rock samples of Mirzapur (U.P.) were carried out using KBr disc method on Perkin Elmer Grating Spectrophotometer Type 621. All the samples show features of dolomite mineral. Besides, such studies have revealed information regarding some foreign materials and ingredients which were not detectable from the X-ray powder diffraction patterns. © 1977, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
