| dc.description.abstract | 1,3,5-tri-p-tolyl-1,3,5-triazene was investigated as a corrosion inhibitor for brass in 0.5 M HCl solution using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization, linear polarization resistance and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Data obtained from these methods showed average inhibition efficiency (76 %) at optimum concentration. The adsorption of the inhibitor on the brass surface follows the Frumkin adsorption isotherm. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht. | |
