| dc.description.abstract | In the present paper, the ultimate tensile strength, fracture toughness and surface fracture energy of continuously coated, uncoated fly-ash filled unidirectional glass fibre reinforced epoxy resin have been studied. The results show that the tensile strength and fracture toughness of fly-ash filled glass fibre reinforced epoxy resin can be increased by the continuous coating of fibre tows with epoxy resin prior to chopping into moulding pellets. © 1989. | |
