| dc.description.abstract | This paper proposed a compact high gain wideband 16× 16 reflectarray (RA) antenna for 5G and mm-wave applications. The proposed RA has an octagonal shape polarization rotating unit cell to obtain a quantized 360 ° phase. This phase is quantized in two states by rotating the polarization which is obtained by etching a slot at ±45° on an octagonal patch. The required phase on this RA is compensated by positioned 0 and π-state of the unit cell. It is illuminated with a 13dBi pyramidal horn antenna. The maximum aperture efficiency and average realized gain are 22.46 % and 22.1 dBi respectively in the operating band of 30-40 GHz. © 2023 IEEE. | |
