Transient response of electromagnetic pulses reflected from semiconductor plasma

dc.description.abstractThe dispersion relation for n-type semi-conductor plasma including the inertial effect of holes has been derived. The transient characteristics of the reflected signals are obtained by synthesizing the short electromagnetic pulses using the time convolution technique. The various aspect of the reflected response have been studied numerically. The change in the polarization characteristics can be used as a diagnostic tool to probe the semiconductor plasma. © 1975.
