High Responsivity ZnO Nanorods/PTB7 Polymer Heterojunction Based UV-Visible Photodetector
Abstract
This letter reports the fabrication and characterization of a ZnO nanorods / p-type poly[[4,8-bis [(2 ethylhexyl) oxy] benzo [1,2-b:4,5- b' ]dithiophene-2,6-diyl][3-fluoro-2-[(2ethylhexyl)carbonyl] thieno [3,4-b] thiophenediyl]](PTB7) polymer hybrid heterojunction based high performance ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) wideband photodetector. Under a low bias voltage of -1 V, the device shows the responsivities, detectivities and external quantum efficiencies (EQEs) measured at 380 nm (UV) and 640 nm (visible) wavelengths are 307.18 A/W and 33.64 A/W; ∼ 1.56× 10 13 Jones and ∼ 1.7× 1012 Jones; and ∼ 100.23× 103 % and ∼ 6.51× 103 % respectively. © 1989-2012 IEEE.
