| dc.description.abstract | Two important low frequency electrostatic wave modes are excited in magnetosplasma. The dispersion features, group velocities, the damping rates and the direction of wave-packets propagation are found to change significantly with changing direction of wave propagation. The diagnostic applications of these wave modes in magnetospheric probing have been discussed. © 1989. | |
