Crafting Correlation Structure by Interference

dc.description.abstractCoherence function is a complex quantity and follows wave equation similar to the optical field. Utilizing this analogy, wepropose a new method to craft the correlation structure of the light. This is realized by considering the interference of coherence waves due specially positioned incoherent sources in the Fourier space. Basic principle of the proposed approach is described and simulation results for two different cases are presented. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
