Amplifier characteristics of the super-alpha composite transistor

Abstract

The expressions for the voltage gain, current gain, input resistance and the power gain of a super-alpha composite transistor haves been developed by analysing its equivalent circuit in terms of the various parameters of the individual transistors. Further, the expressions obtained have been simplified by considering the similar transistors of the composite system. The variation of these with load resistance has also been studied and curves are given showing these variations. © 1970 Taylor and Francis Ltd.
