Some theorems in linear thermoelasticity with dual phase-lags for an anisotropic medium
Abstract
The present work is concerned with some theorems in the linear theory of thermoelasticity with dual phase-lags for an anisotropic and inhomogeneous material. We employ the hyperbolic theory of thermoelasticity that includes two phase-lags in the heat conduction equations. A mixed initial boundary value problem is considered in the context of the present model. Uniqueness of solutions of the mixed problem is proved. A convolution type variational principle and a reciprocal relation are also established. © 2013 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
