| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a simplified mathematical model of unified power flow controller (UPFC) in a single machine infinite bus power system. This model can be used for a detailed performance analysis of power system oscillations damping capabilities of unified power now controller under different line loading conditions along with different reactive power requirements of the system. The proposed model can be used for parametric tuning of UPFC control parameter for adequate oscillation damping in a power network. | |
