| dc.description.abstract | A NiCrMoV steel rotor forging material was heat treated to produce different microstructures with a wide range of mechanical properties. The fatigue crack propagation behaviours of two microstructures with identical yield strengths were compared and found to be significantly different. For each microstructural condition a linear acceleration of fatigue crack growth rate was obtained in stage II. © 1989. | |
