| dc.description.abstract | In the present paper, the temperature dependent properties of tilted ternary layer, polymer/semiconductor/dielectric photonic crystal (PSDPC) are theoretically investigated in terahertz frequency region on the basis of reflection, transmission and absorption (RTA) spectra by using transfer matrix method. During the analysis we have seen that by increasing the thickness of polymer layer the RTA spectra shift towards the lower frequency side. Enhancement in the number of periods of the layer and temperature, it causes the shift in cut-off frequency towards the higher side. In addition, we have also observed that RTA properties depend upon the tilt angle of the plane. By increasing the tilt angle, the number of bands increases, but band width reduces and also the photonic bands shift towards lower frequency side. The proposed structure may have the technological importance in tunable optical filter, multichannel transmission filters as terahertz optoelectronic devices.
