| dc.description.abstract | An automatically controlled power system having a "forced" excitation system, stabilizing link and a fast-acting governing system has been considered for dynamic stability studies. Results are plotted in the form of stability regions in the plane of two AVR parameters using the D-partition technique. A comprehensive study of the effect of damping, saturation, governor action and stabilizing link on the stability limits and on the AVR control parameter settings has been carried out. © 1979. | |
