| dc.description.abstract | Semicarbazones of 4-amino acetophenone were synthesized by reacting it with different semicarbazides. Further, they were converted to their thioureido derivatives with cyclohexyl isothiocyanate. Their chemical structures have been confirmed by IR and 1H-NMR spectral data. Investigation of in vitro antimicrobial activity of the compounds was carried by agar dilution method against 25 pathogenic bacteria and five pathogenic fungi. | |
