Dynamic response of twin lined shells due to incident seismic waves

Abstract

The dynamic interaction of the twin shells subjected to seismic waves is investigated numerically. It is found that the three-dimensional response of twin shells may differ significantly from the two-dimensional response, and that through-soil interaction between the shells may also be significant. © 2014 Mathematical Sciences Publishers.
