This chapter contains the theoretical and empirical correlations of thermophysical properties, such as density, specific heat capacity, dynamic viscosity, thermal conductivity, and surface tension of nanorefrigerants and nanolubricants. The theoretical analysis of the vapor compression refrigeration cycle using nanorefrigerant as a working fluid is elaborated. The latest development in single-phase and two-phase (condensation and boiling) heat transfer and pressure drop correlations of nanorefrigerants are presented as well. © 2024 Elsevier Inc.
