| dc.description.abstract | Shilajit (25 and 50 mg/kg i.p. for 5 days) significantly lowers the levels of 5HT and 5HIAA and increases the levels of DA, NA and their metabolites, in concert, in rat brain. The finding is appraised in view of its use as an Ayurvedic rasayan (rejuvenator). Copyright © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. | |
