The study focuses on assessing uranium concentrations in the groundwater of the Kamrup Metro district in Assam, India, during both the pre-monsoon and post-monsoon periods. This paper specifically investigates the levels of nitrate and phosphate in the groundwater and examines their relationship with uranium concentrations. Additionally, the study estimates the annual effective dose for all life stage groups,, along with evaluating both carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks associated with uranium exposure. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing.
