QCA background

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of QCA technology and the logic associated with it. It also includes a brief discussion of various types of QCA implementation currently under research along with a comprehensive literature survey pertaining to this work. As device feature sizes approach quantum limits, fundamental effects will make further scaling difficult, requiring a departure from the FET-based paradigm and necessitating revolutionary approaches to computing. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.
