| dc.description.abstract | A new type of ultraviolet filter is proposed using a linear periodic refractive index pattern on the macroscopic scale in a suitable material. This structure is able to act as an efficient ultraviolet monochromator. It fulfills the requirement in the ultraviolet 200-400 nm range with only a suitable variation of materials of different refractive indexes and the thickness of the used material. | |
