The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article because of similarities between the data in this article and the data in another article [1] published within a close time frame with overlapping authors, which studies different sources of biomass. It seems that while both articles describe different biomasses, a number of figures appear to be highly similar: The temperature curves in Figure 1 appear to be highly similar to the temperature curves in Figure 1 of [1], despite different bulk densities between the two sources of biomass. The temperature curves in Figure 2 appear to be highly similar to the temperature curves in Figure 2 of [1], despite different bulk densities between the two sources of biomass. The temperature curves in Figure 1 appear to be highly similar to the temperature curves in Figure 1 of [1], despite different bulk densities between the two sources of biomass. The temperature curves in Figure 2 appear to be highly similar to the temperature curves in Figure 2 of [1], despite different bulk densities between the two sources of biomass. Additionally, the values in the tables for the physical-chemical properties appear to be identical. It was also found that the reported starting conditions appear to be identical on different reported measuring days. As a result of these unlikely similarities, the Editor-in-Chief no longer has confidence in the data, results and conclusions of this article.
