| dc.description.abstract | The steady state behavior of a single phase two winding self excited induction generator has been analyzed. A comprehensive and general analytical method supported by a computer software has been presented to analyze the system with any operating condition. The experimental results on a specially designed SEIG validates the theoretical model and the suggested method to incorporate magnetic non-linearity. Effect of different system parameters are studied and a method to choose the right combination of capacitors presented to ensure the most appropriate design of the system for the required stand alone application. | |
