Multiple surface plasmon polariton waves

Abstract

Multiple surface plasmon polariton (SPP) waves were experimentally observed for the first time at the planar interface of a metal thin film and a chiral sculptured thin film assembled in the Kretschmann configuration. All launched SPP waves had the same frequency but different phase speeds. © 2009 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
