dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present paper is to improve the friction and wear properties of unidirectional E-glass fibre reinforced epoxy resin by adding mica particles. The experimental observations show that mica particles increase the hardness and compressive strength of unidirectional E-glass fibre reinforced epoxy resin composites, which gives better tribological application of fibre composites in industry. © 1992.
