Field ionization in thin-films of CdS

Abstract

Experimental investigations on the conduction process in thin-film Al(Al2O3)CdSAl system indicates the field ionization of traps at low fields, whereas at higher fields, valence electrons directly tunnel to the conduction band giving rise to considerably higher values of current. © 1970.
