| dc.description.abstract | Corrosion inhibitive properties of some 1-aryl-2,5-dithiohydrazodicarbonamides and their molybdenum and tungsten complexes have been evaluated for mild steel in 1.0 N sulphuric acid at 298 K by weight loss and electrochemical polarization techniques. All the tested compounds affected appreciably the cathodic as well as anodic polarization processes and proved thereby to be ambiodic inhibitors. Among the various dithiohydrazodicarbonamides, methoxy phenyl derivative exhibited maximum inhibition efficiency (IE). Metal complexes show significant enhancement in IE over the corresponding ligands at the same concentration. | |
