dc.description.abstractThis work presents a novel approach to designing quantitative interval observers for linear systems with time-varying delays and disturbances. A new type of interval observer is proposed, leading to a tighter interval state estimate and a quantitative measure of the interval width. The effectiveness of the proposed observer is demonstrated through two numerical examples. © 2017 IEEE.
