| dc.description.abstract | This manuscript presents a metasurface as a linear to circular polarization (LP-to-CP) converter designed on a single 1 mm thick dielectric substrate with triple operating bands. The unit cell comprises diagonally arranged metallic loops in both the layers of the substrate surrounded by a larger square ring while each of the diagonal elements consists of three distinct square loops. The CP conversion has been realized at three distinct frequency bands i.e., 7.05-9.16 GHz, 16.40-20.76 GHz, and 23.46-24.93 GHz offering respective 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidths of 26.25%, 23.5%, and 2.2% in comparison to the center frequencies. The anti-clockwise rotation of the electric surface current implies the left-handed CP nature in all the frequencies of interest. © 2024 IEEE. | |
