| dc.description.abstract | The theoretical analysis of a notch-loaded rectangular patch for dual-band operation, in which dual-frequency behavior is obtained via notch loading, is proposed and experimentally verified. The theoretical analysis is based on the modal-expansion cavity model. The resonance frequencies changes with the variation of the length and width of the notch; hence, the input impedance, VSWR, return loss, and bandwidth are calculated. The obtained resonance-frequency ratio var ies from 1.11 to 1.83 with the length and width of the notch. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. | |
