dc.description.abstract5G enabled MIMO antenna is an efficient technique for extremely large channel capacity and spectral efficiency, whereas large-scale antenna elements are utilized in the base stations (BSs) and user terminal. In this paper, an approximation model of extremely high-order [8×(2×2)=32-element] MIMO is constructed by configuring an eight-element MIMO antenna as considered as an unit cell. The approach of the model consists of E×M×N antenna elements, subdivides into number of antenna elements in an unit cell, columns, and rows. An unit cell consist of a low-profile/compact eight-element 5G-MIMO antenna, which is designed by positioning two identical monopole antenna elements in an orthogonal symmetrical manner on an octagonal-substrate board. The ground stubs are employed to mitigate the correlation between two antenna elements. It has a reflection coefficient (Sij ∈ i=j <-6 dB) range of 3.3-4.9 GHz (39%) and the obtained value of coupling coefficient (Sij ∈ i≠j is better than-15.5 dB in the same band. Additionally, the ECC achieved is below 0.1. The results validate the model's suitability for 5G-enabled user devices, demonstrating satisfactory performance. © 2024 IEEE.
