| dc.description.abstract | Forced convective mass transfer between a solid nonspherical particle and water was studied for 0.1993 < (Dp/Dc) < 0.477 and 50 < NRec < 25000. No effect of (Dp/Dc) was observed in the range studied. The experimental results were correlated by NShNsc−⅓ = 0.5844 NRec½ + 0.006012 NRec. © 1976, American Chemical Society.
