On Hick’s Contraction Using a Control Function

Abstract

In this paper, we use L-convergence criteria to establish a Hick’s type contraction mapping theorem in different probabilistic metric spaces. A theorem is established by using the control function which is a recent introduction in literature and is a generalization of many other such functions.
