| dc.description.abstract | Natural filler reinforced composites are gaining importance due to their low cost, low density, reduced dermal and respiratory irritation, renewable resource and possible recycling without affecting the environmental damage, and together with biodegradable ability. In this investigation, flexural and impact properties of wheat flour reinforced polymer matrix composites have been investigated. The effect of reinforcing random short glass fibers in wheat flour reinforced polymer matrix composites have also been investigated. Effect of saline water treatment on the wheat flour reinforced polymer matrix composites have also been investigated. The results conclude that flexural and impact properties of wheat flour reinforced composites varies with the variation of wheat flour, saline water treatment and with reinforcing random short glass fibers. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd. | |
