| dc.description.abstract | The paper reveals the fabrication details of an experimental setup of dual-stator Permanent magnet synchronous generators. These types of generators have been found to be best suited for stand-alone micro-hydro and wind power renewable energy generation. It has inherent capability of voltage regulation by means of induction regulation at different speeds. A mechanical provision of altering air-gap has been provided in the experimental setup. Also, paper talks about the bottleneck in the fabrication process and has proposed alternative methods of construction. © 2015 IEEE. | |
