Analysis of varactor tuned active microstrip patch antenna

Abstract

The theoretical analysis of varactor tuned active microstrip antenna is proposed. The active antenna shows a marked improvement in tuning range, beamwidth and bandwidth. The proposed method predicts bandwidth of 35.5256%, which is higher than the earlier reported data. © 2002 ANTEM.
