| dc.description.abstract | Thus it may be summarised that hardness of the cold rolled AISI 4340 steel is lowered due to exposure in alternating magnetic field of 942 Oe, at room temperature. The results are discussed in terms of vibrational effect and increased mobility of dislocations and their consequent rearrangement to offer less resistance to deformation. | |
