| dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) has been proposed to optimize the number of Phasor Measurements with maximum observability of the power system, which improves the accuracy of state estimation. Therefore, one more objective function has been added into the proposed objective function. Thus the problem has been expresses as multi-objective problem. Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) placements in presence of zero injection buses and in case of single PMU loss have also been investigated. The proposed MILP has been tested on IEEE 30-bus and IEEE llS-bus test systems. Proposed formulation for optimal PMUs placement (OPP) provides the good results by using the MILP. © 2018 IEEE. | |
