LCDD Snubber Dual-Switch Forward Converter for High Voltage Battery Management System

| dc.description.abstract | A topology is proposed to derive a LCDD (inductor, capacitor with two diodes) snubber dual-switch forward converter suitable for wide input voltage range applications e.g. for DC supply to power electronic subsystem in a Battery Management Systems (BMS) of Li-ion batteries, which have wide range of terminal voltage. The proposed converter offers a simple inductor and capacitor circuit with two diodes having operating duty cycle at more than 50%. The detailed analysis and working of the proposed converter are described. The proposed converter was simulated with a 550V to 1000V input voltage range to 15V constant output voltage, and the results are presented. © 2023 IEEE. | |
