| dc.description.abstract | For the Hyperthermia application, a novel dual-band coaxially fed patch antenna in the shape of a star is proposed in this research. The proposed antenna's overall size is 26×26×1.6 mm3, and its first and second resonances are at 2.5 GHz and 5.35 GHz, respectively. The simulation of this antenna is in HFSS 2020R1 software, based on FEM. FR-4 substrate with an r of 4.4 and thickness of 1.6 mm material is used. The reflection coefficient of the proposed antenna is -16 dB at the first resonance and -19 dB at the second resonance. The specific absorption rate (SAR) is achieved as per IEEE guidelines. © 2023 IEEE. | |
