System analysis approach

Abstract

The following article uses system analysis for a coal mine of Jharia coalfields. The face production system was split into sub-systems for analysis (after prolonged field monitoring) for their compatibility, and finally an evaluation of the reserve capacity of the sub-systems. The study has revealed several important discrepancies in operations at the field scale, which calls for rational planning, implementation and revision of the targeted (planned) production level within the existing set up itself.
